Edit: Spoke with Noah, he was very gracious and offered a resolution. Changed terror to reflect!! My service appointment at Great Lakes Subaru on February 24, 2025, was a mixed bag. The actual maintenance work was performed satisfactorily, and the staff was generally polite. However, I was particularly let down by the car wash situation. When I scheduled the service, I requested a car wash, and the service advisor assured me it would be included. Upon picking up my vehicle, I was informed that it couldn't go through their automated wash. I understand that certain vehicles may not be compatible, but I was disappointed that no alternative was offered. A simple hand wash would have been a thoughtful gesture and would have greatly improved my overall experience. It feels like a broken promise, and it left me feeling dissatisfied. Regrettably, this is the second Subaru dealership in my experience that has fallen short on their promised commitments.

I purchased a certified pre-owned Subaru Forester and everyone at Great Lakes was excellent from the cashier to the finance officer to Jose who took my phone call. On my two visits to the dealership, I was promptly greeted with a smile. My salesman, Travis, was knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. Unlike other dealership experiences, I felt like was always treated fairly as a single woman and no one talked over me to my boyfriend when I made it clear this was my purchase. The entire experience made me excited to own a Subaru.

Charly and Todd took excellent care of me and I found the right vehicle at the right price. If you live in the metro Detroit area, it may be worth the two hour drive to Findlay!

Andre was the only sales person to address my husband and I at the car lot. Andre was very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice :) It was refreshing to deal with an honest cars salesperson! If we make a purchase in the future we will deal with Andre :)

The salesman Jose, is very knowledgeable about their products. He answered every question with confidence. He worked hard to give us the best possible deal. The finance/warrenty department went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. When it's time, I'm sure we'll be back for our next car.

Great dealership to purchase vehicle from. We are out of state buyer. Our salesman, Jose Esnard made the purchase process very smooth. Prompt communication, get things done efficiently, thoughtful, straightforward and honest. He even arranged a driver to pick us up from airport, which is one hour drive away. Our driver is also very friendly, met us at airport on time, took us to the dealership as scheduled.
